Veneered board
This is known as natural veneer and is made by pasting the veneer onto chipboard MDF, HDF, plywood or blockboard. The natural and inimitable wood pattern is a huge plus with these kinds of boards, especially as they can all be covered with dozens of natural or modified veneers from our wide range.

Chipboard
These are made by pressing wood particles – chips – under high temperature and pressure conditions and using binding agents like urea-formaldehyde resin.
Chipboard is produced in large dimensions, and has a uniform inner layer and a very dense outer layer. This makes it highly durable with good insulation properties and very little unevenness. It is widely used in the furniture industry and in finishing and carpentry on account of its excellent mechanical properties.
Its surface qualities enable it to be further enhanced by having a natural veneer glued over it.

MDF board
MDF board is made by pressing wood fibres with added organic binding and hardening compounds under conditions of high temperature and pressure. MDF is a material of uniform density and consistent material composition. This makes it ideal for any kind of processing – cutting, drilling, milling, moulding, varnishing, coating with a thin melamine film, and covering with a natural or artificial veneer. Because of its easy workability, MDF is used to produce visible furniture components.
MDF board is used to make furniture, interior design finishing touches, wall panels, floor panels, coffers, decorative, finishing and furniture strips, decorative furniture frames, table top overlays, non-standard fasteners, and for woodworking.

HDF board
Varnished HDF boards are basically very hard and dense fibreboards. They are easy to cut, and to clean and maintain.
They are produced in a wide range of colours and have many applications in the furniture industry: furniture backs, drawer bottoms, making interior doors, as wall cladding, door panels, and promotional interior decoration items.

Plywood
Plywood is made by gluing an odd number of layers (called “plies”) together in such a way that adjacent layers are at right angles to each other. Several layers of 1.5-2.5 mm thick veneer are used to make it. Plywood’s main advantages are its high strength-to-weight ratio, its dimensional integrity, and especially, its low heat transfer.

Wood core plywood
Wood core plywood has a thick middle layer, glued both sides to a single or double layer of facing board or hard fibreboard. It is classified as moisture resistant or waterproof, depending on the type of glue used. The middle layer may consist of slats, strips or veneer – of the lowest quality. This plywood is produced in 3 layers and 5 layers.
Wood core plywood is a traditional building material used in furniture making and construction. It has good physical properties and complies with Hygiene Class E1.
These can also be covered with natural veneers. These likewise have good physical properties and comply with Hygiene Class E1.
